||Limited financial assistance is provided each year by the Society to dancers, musicians, and students or researchers of Scottish history and culture. This assistance is provided to individuals or groups at the recommendation of the Society's Scholarship Committee and approval by the Society's Board of Managers. Individuals/groups must fill out a written application, which is to be submitted to the Scholarship Chair before any consideration for financial assistance is made. The St. Andrew's Society of Jacksonville reserves the right to deny financial assistance based on a variety of factors including but not limited to the availability of scholarship funds, previous financial assistance to the individual/group, or a general or specific lack of worthiness of the project or training for which the assistance is requested.
